Local Teen Artist Paints Park Mural
Marina Vallejo is a 17-year-old Calaveras County native who loves White Pines Park & Lake. Although she recently moved to Nevada, Marina felt passionate about giving back to her hometown community by volunteering her time and self-taught artistry.
We greatly appreciate her donating this beautiful painting for all of us to enjoy!
Growing up, Marina attended local schools including Hazel Fischer Elementary, located across the road from White Pines Lake. Marina is a straight-A student who hopes to attend University of Nevada, Reno after graduating high school.
